What Does “Subscribe” Mean?

Subscribe
There are many ways to subscribe to the Podcast so you get the most updated version whenever you log on to the Internet.

For those with iTunes you can subscribe to The God Journey and the latest edition will be automatically downloaded to your iPod, if you have one during your next sync. Just click on the iTunes button below, and it will automatically open our iTunes podcast page. Click 'subscribe' in iTunes and you're all set. You can view a tutorial on iTunes podcasting here. Happy Listening!

We are also listed with Yahoo podcasts and you can subscribe there as well as rate the podcast as a way for others on the Internet to find our podcast. You can get to our page there by clicking on the button below.

Or you can subscribe to the podcast through RSS. RSS is short for Really Simple Syndication. It's an XML file that can be read by special software or a web service you can use from your web browser. Put the address of our web feed into your reader, and it will display the latest podcast from The God Journey and download it automatically.

That means you can stay in touch with us without having to revisit the site periodically to check for new shows.

How do I use an RSS feed?
In general, the first thing you need is a news reader. There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications. All allow you to display and subscribe to the RSS feeds you want.

Once you have chosen a news reader, all you have to do is click on the RSS button or drag the URL of the RSS feed into your news reader or by cutting and pasting the same URL into a new feed in your news reader.

Our RSS feed URL is: http://feeds.feedburner.com/TheGodJourneyBlog

Some browsers, including Firefox, Opera and Safari, have functionality that automatically picks up RSS feeds for you. For more details on these, please check their websites.
