Letting Life Unfold

Brad is all excited about a new documentary he saw last week,The Human Experience, which spawns a discussion about how we embrace the life that truly is life. By looking at the most needy in our world, it brought home the incredible point that our life does not consist of our possessions or our strategic planning. Jesus modeled a different way of living, even from his youngest days in Nazareth. Life is best lived by responding to God's purpose unfolding in the spontaneous moments with the people right before us, than trying to orchestrate life on our own terms. Maybe living loved and loving others is the strategy.

The Human Experience, The Misunderstood God, The Shack, Outside the Box, the god journey, He Loves me, and the 1st thing: So You Don’t wanna go to church anymore. 4 years ago I read it and ever since have been onto a relationship with God that I gad wondered away from through religous obligation.

    Thanks Brad & Wayne

  3. Thanks for sharing about The Human Experience. Funny how our perceptions/paradigms drives our journey. I had heard about from my Roman Catholic friends and wrote it off. Listening to Brad talk about it now I want to see it!! Emailed Grassroots asking for a viewing in Oklahoma City, hope it comes here for us to see.

  5. To answer the first question, yes, we are here and people very faithfully listen to your podcasts. Secondly, thanks again for the great reminder to live love and live to love others… it is when we allow God to use us to love that we find ourselves in the center of His will for us. A great reminder at just the right time for me today.

  6. Like the shack said it,we were made to live loved. So many people ask, “Why are we here?” That answer is found in God Himself, the fellowship Papa,Jesus, and the Holy Spirit experience together is WHY we are here. We are here to live loved! We were created to fly. Isaiah 40:31 says it perfectly:
“But those that wait* upon the Lord shall renew their strength*; they shall mount up with wings as eagles;they shall run and be not weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

*This word means to be bound together with God;in relationship with Him,it also means to be at peace, even when there is chaos all around you

*This word also mean to be bound together with God

We were meant to be in relationship with God,and we were meant to fly…..to be free. We were meant to be smack dab in the center of His <3 (love)! That's why we were created. Religion had taken the essence of life and made into obligation…God doesn't work that way. He doesn't live on our agenda,He has one of His own. Do you know what that is? It's to WAIT on Him,to together,be bound, and live life in freedom…flying free. Did you know that eagles fly so peacefully and full of stillness? They just sort of wave across the sky…it's the awesomest thing! And God wants us to be able to know the Truth that way….a way that will set us free. He's inviting you today. Just let Him in and you will discover that the overcoming joy of knowing Him will suddenly be in all that you do… 🙂 He loves me and He loves you….yay!
