Moving an Orphange in Kenya
The aftermath of tribal violence: Widows caring for orphans in the slums of Eldoret
In the last podcast we invited those of you who wanted to to help fund the moving of an orphanage from an unsanitary slum near Eldoret. We have found some property nearby that is wonderfully suited for this objective. To buy the land, refurbish the buildings on it and add a few more, and to equip that facility with beds and provide two-years funding for the staff will cost $100,000.00 If you are interested, you can read a Facebook article by Kent, who traveled with me to Kenya, about his passion for this project. We're not pressuring anyone to help us here. If it is on your heart, we'd love your help in providing for these 70 orphans and 12 widows.
