Podcast #666

Can you believe we've made it this far? When we started, we never conceived that we would still be recording 666 episodes later. What to do with this one? Brand and Wayne decided to use this occasion to talk about the influence of the enemy in our live—the lies he tells us, the temptations he offers, the shame he stokes, and the accusations he foments to destroy our confidence in Father's love and our relationships with others. They talk about the importance of humility in breaking the power of the enemy and looking for the way of escape that Jesus always offers us, no matter how dark our situation.

  1. Thank you for your podcast. This really brought me out of the deep funk I had slid into by giving into the temptations of satan of thinking I had wasted my life and am of no use to anyone. Your discussion helped me see that I was being beguiled. You have reminded us all about the reality of the dark forces. I feel rejuvinated! What a blessing you guys are!

  2. Your subject on the last podcast was very appropriate in that “666” is his number !
I guess you could say “We’ve got his number !!! “
    Blessings !!!

  3. Thanks for your podcasts. It is so funny that you broadcasted your episode 666 at the same time as This American Life’s episode 666. The part of yours that is helpful to me is the encouragement to be humble. Humility sounds easy, but requires the Spirit’s power to live it out. Without the Spirit’s power, it can be tempting to be proud of my “humility”.

    • Doug,
      I just loved your comment!

      So true.
Thanks. Touched my heart and caused me to smile!
      Pat
