Unfinished Business (#880)

The God Journey conversation is flowing faster than Wayne and Kyle can keep up, so this week, they circle back to some unfinished business from earlier episodes this year. In doing so, they talk about how Wayne and Sara are negotiating the pain of last year in their redemption story and dealing with unhealthy family systems, especially if the toxic person is still involved and acting destructively. They also return to their conversation about the "Life of Jesus 401" and how God is raising up a generation of people transformed enough by love to follow the Lamb wherever he leads and, in doing so, demonstrate his glory to the world.

The next Wrestling with Trauma conversation will be held Sunday, February 5, at 11:00 am PST. This is limited to the first twelve who ask to be included. You can email Wayne and see if there's still room and get the link if you want. Given the sensitive nature of these sessions, they are not streamed or recorded.
The next session of the Jake Colsen Book Club will be held Saturday, February 4, at 1:30 pm PST.  You'll have to work that out in your own time zone. This one will be on chapter 8, Unplayable Lies, which deals with how God grows our trust and the danger of trying to save ourselves. We will stream it live on my Facebook Author Page, but if you want to be part of the conversation, you can get a link to the Zoom Room by emailing Wayne and asking for it.
