The Beast Between You and Jesus (#1028)
This powerful image comes from a vision an autistic boy shared with a woman, except that he saw a large beast standing before the altar in a church building, blocking someone's view of Jesus. It sums up Kyle and Wayne's conversation this week as they look through the mailbag and respond to listeners' comments and questions. They discuss finding contentment even through brutal circumstances, especially for those who feel stuck in their journey. That comes as we let Jesus grow larger in our hearts than the beast that seeks to block our view.

Thanks for this podcast Kyle and Wayne. Blessings, Sue
Behold, the part from 29:30 to 30:35 is super important!! Not to miss …
I found myself saying, “Yep, yep, yep!” throughout this podcast.
Kyle, it’s not just men who feel the pressure of “being/having achieved enough”. Yes, some people define their world from the perspective of being a victim. There’s nothing you can do to prepare for the curveballs life will send you except to have deep confidence that whatever those are, Jesus will be with you in them.
Wayne, I love that quote where the orator is almost wishing that the person will have the blessing of having curveballs in their life. What a thing to wish on someone! We all think smooth sailing through life is the definition of a blessed life. Yet, I have learned in the 6th decade of my life that it is the curveballs that give us the opportunity to find God in a very real way. To realize he is in it with us, very present and real. When everything you value is stripped away and your only option is to lean on God, then your faith has been tried by fire.
